a special visitor

We thought this guy was cute at first...but he's a pain. He got into the garbage and didn't seem at all bothered by me..even when I poked at him with a rake handle to shoo him along....Pepper likes chasing him, but I don't want Pepper getting bit either. who knows what these critters might have..rabies?
